Hello there! I'm John Park (my legal name is "Hokyun Park"). I'm a software developer with a passion for creating innovative solutions.

I'm currently working at CIBC and have experience with various programming languages and frameworks. I'm always eager to learn new technologies and challenge myself with new IT-related skills.

Outside of coding, I enjoy exercising and playing active sports — I guess I'm that weirdo who loves being both active and a developer at the same time!

Technical Skills

Language

I am a capable front-end developer who can come up with innovative design using html/css. I also use bootstrap and frameworks to complement my design and for the better and modernized user experience of an application.

Framework

Java has became my primary language due to my professional experience. I am also capable of coding in python, Javascript, C due to my keen interest in different technologies requiring different programming language knowledge

Tools

I am capable of using various tools for my development - mainly use vscode or IDE (ex. IntelliJ) appropriate to the framework being used. Furthermore, for quick configuration editing, I use terminal + vim combination for swift completion of my work
